The mission of the Quilts of Valor Foundation is to cover service members and veterans touched by war with comforting and healing Quilts of Valor. Throughout the year, Milltown Quilters participates in this effort by creating quilts specifically for the Quilts of Valor. These quilts often have a patriotic, red, white and blue design. For the past several years, the Milltown Quilters have made star blocks that are then pieced into quilts for donation to the QoV Foundation.
